Mode Elegant (モードエレガント Mōdo Ereganto?) are the alternate forms that the Cures in Go! Princess Pretty Cure can change into with the different Dress Up Keys and the Princess Perfumes. Each Cure has 4 different Modes Elegant, the basic Mode Elegant that can be accessed with the basic transformation Dress Up Key, they also have another three Modes Elegant releated with their theme powers, but they need to use the Elegant and miracle Dress Up Keys to change. The Cures are able to perform individual and group attacks with Princess Perfume and the Princess Rod to purify Zetsuborgs.

Cure Flora[]

Mode Elegant[]

Her main Mode Elegant, first seen in Episode 1, to access it, she needs her Princess Perfume and her transformation Dress Up Key. In this form, Flora uses the power of flowers, as she uses in her Cure form. When she turns in this Mode Elegant, her dress becomes longer. It only changes the lower part of the dress, it has three layers, the first layer is held by four flowers ribbons, three at the front and one at the back, the second one is magenta-colored short layer that covers a little bit from the third layer, which is white-colored. When Cure Flora is in this mode, she can perform Floral Tourbillon.

Mode Elegant Rose[]

Her second Mode Elegant, first appeared in Episode 11, to access it, she needs her Princess Perfume and her Elegant Rose Dress Up Key. This Mode Elegant's theme are roses. In this form Flora's chest flower brooch changes for three little roses with some leaves, the big ribbon with the Princess Pretty Cure emblem changes into ribbon with a golden rose, and the big flowers holding the dress first layer change into big red roses with pink and green leaves, the secons layer now in white, and the last one is rose-colored, and Flora's earings change into roses. When Cure Flora is in this form she is able to perform Trinity Lumiere alongside Cure Mermaid and Cure Twinkle with the Crystal Princess Rod.

Mode Elegant Lily[]

Her third Mode Elegant, third Mode Elegant and it first appeared in episode 18. To access it, she needs her Princess Perfume and her Miracle Lily Dress Up Key. In this form, Flora's outfit becomes darker pink and the bow on the top now has a lily in the center with dark pink and white petals appearing in front like a ribbon. The bow on her waist turns from red to white with a lily in the center. The layers of her skirt are now light pink and white and the flowers on it are now lilies. The flowers on Flora's gloves and her earrings have also changed into lilies. When Flora is in this form, she is able to perform Trinity Explosion alongside Mermaid and Twinkle with the Crystal Princess Rod.

Cure Mermaid[]

Mode Elegant[]

Her main Mode Elegant, first seen in Episode 2 In this Mode Elegant, Mermaid uses water-based powers. In this mode Mermaid changes her Cures form mini skirt for a long skirt colored in light blue, and dark blue and white in the borders of the dress' frills. It surrounded by pink pearls at the top with a navy blue decoration. The upper part of Mermaid dress remains like in her Mode Pretty. In this mode Cure Mermaid has the ability to perform Mermaid Ripple.

Mode Elegant Ice[]

Her second Mode Elegant, first seen in Episode 11. To access it, Mermaid needs the Princess Perfume and the Elegant Ice Dress Up Key. This Mode Elegant theme is ice. In this form Mermaid dress changes in the top and in the skirt. The part of the dress that covers the shoulders incorporates three layers in different blue tones. The golden brooch turns into a white snowflake, and the top is decorated with some ice-based decorations. Mermaid earings turn into little ice crystals and a necklace made of the same ice crystals adorns her neck. The skirt turns into an ice blue color, and the frills are colored in darker blue, there is also a transparent thiner frill decorated with ice crystals. With this Mode Elegant, Mermaid can perform with Flora and Twinkle the Trinity Lumiere attack using the Princess Rod.    

Mode Elegant Bubble[]

Her third Mode Elegant, first seen in episode 18. To access it, Mermaid needs the Princess Perfume and the Miracle Bubble Dress Up Key. In this form, Mermaid's sleeves become puffy, blue and see-through. The brooch becomes bubble-shaped and the pink pearls that run along her top are light blue. Her collar becomes bigger and more rounded. Her earrings are bubble-shaped and they dangle. Her skirt loses the ruffles around it and becomes dark blue with a green gradient toward the bottom. The bottom part of the skirt is light blue and is decorated with light blue bubbles. With this Mode Elegant, Mermaid can perform Trinity Explosion with Flora and Twinkle using the Crystal Princess Rod.

Cure Twinkle[]

Mode Elegant[]

Her main Mode Elegant, first appered in Episode 4, in order to transform into this Mode Elegant, Twinkle needs the Princess Perfume and the transformation Dress Up Key. When she turns in this form, only Twinkle skirt changes, because the dress becomes longer. In the upper part, Twinkle keeps the upper skirt that also appears in her Cure form. A long yellow dress surrounds her. And under the yellow layer, rests dress leyer composed by different tones of purple and white as some starts and jewels clips hold the yellow layer. In this mode, Cure Twinkle can perform Twinkle Humming.

Mode Elegant Luna[]

Her second Mode Elegant, first used it in Episode 11. To turn into this Mode, Twinkle needs the Princess Perfume and the Elegant Luna Dress Up Key. The golden brooch turns into a moon with a star in it and Twinkle earings turn into crescent moons. The top sleeves become longer and a kind of mantle covers her back. The star and the jewel clips change into some crescent moon clips that connect the two sides of the yellow layer of the dress, under it the purple layer now is blue colored. When she is in this mode, Twinkle can has the ability to perform Trinity Lumiere with Flora and Mermaid using the Princess Rod.

Mode Elegant Shooting Star[]

Her third Mode Elegant, first seen in episode 18. To access it, Twinkle needs the Princess Perfume and the Miracle Shooting Star Dress Up Key. The top part of her outfit gains a yellow and purple-striped lining and her brooch turns into a star shape. Her belt turns purple and the star in the center turns orange. Her sleeves become a little longer and gains an orange and light yellow-striped design. Fuchsia stars dangle from the ends of the top part of her skirt and the bottom now has layers of different shades of purple. Two more fuchsia stars pin the yellow part of the skirt on each side, revealing a light yellow-colored layer. Her earrings resemble upside down shooting stars. In this mode, she can perform Trinity Explosion with Flora and Mermaid using the Crystal Princess Rod.

Cure Scarlet[]

Mode Elegant Phoenix[]

Her main Mode Elegant, first appeared in Episode 22, in order to transform into this Mode Elegant, she needs the Princess Perfume and the transformation Elegant Phoenix Dress Up Key. When she turns in this form, only her skirt changes, because the dress becomes longer. In the upper part, she keeps the upper skirt that also appears in her Cure form. The red part of the skirt that formerly covers only one part now covers both sides and becomes longer, while the ragged white part of the short skirt now becomes a full skirt. In this mode, she can perform Phoenix Blaze using the Scarlet Violin.

Mode Elegant Primavera[]

This is a special Mode Elegant that the 3 main Cures obtain in Pretty Cure All Stars: Haru no Carnival♪. To access it the Cures need their Princess Perfume and the All Stars Dress Up Key. The dresses are the same as the basic Mode Elegants with some changes in the details and the ornaments of the dress. Flora's dress has only two layers, a pink one and a white one, and the flowers in Flora's dress now turned into 6 heart-shaped crystals with different colors. As well, her golden brooch in now heart-shaped and the flower in her chest, the earrings and the crown's flower turned into hearts. Mermaid dress long skirt has pink and yellow heart ornaments around it, and the pink pearl decorations now are heart-shaped, the golden brooch, the blue pearl in the crown and the earrings also turned into hearts. Twinkle's dress doesn't change too much. The golden stars and the violet jewels in the dress turn into hearts, the little star in her orange belt changes into a heart too, and the crown's star, the earrings and the golden brooch in her chest too.

Mode Elegant Premium[]

This is a special group Mode Elegant that the all four Cures can use, obtained in Episode 30. To access it the Cures need the Music Princess Palace and their respective premium Dress Up Key. (Cherry Blossom, Coral, Galaxy, and Sun). The dresses are turned into full white layered dresses with the number of layers for each Cure retained and a yellow hem for the second layer, while keeping the top part design, and decorated with bows and a ribbon brooch in the Cure's respective theme colour, a white ribbon with the Pretty Cure insignia at their waists, as well as wearing chokers decorated with one gem representing their respective theme, and small gemstones in their theme colour. Their hair become much longer and is covered with their respective theme, and their crowns all changed to the crown that represented the Trinity attacks. Flora's earrings', brooch's and crown's flowers changes to cherry flowers, her choker's flowers has changed to a single cherry flower, and her hair is covered with cherry flowers and now reaches her knees. Mermaid's pearls changes to small white pearls as earrings and small blue pearls as the brooch and ribbons, she now wears a choker with a small pearl in the middle in place of the high collar, her hair is covered with white pearls while now the bottom length is actually long enough that it is completely trailing behind her, and her dress is less puffed out. Twinkle's golden stars changes to yellow six-point stars as earrings and orange ones as the ribbons and brooch, her choker is switched with one that has a five-point light yellow star in the middle, her hair is covered with yellow normal stars and now has a second pair of pom-poms tying them up, and the bottom layer of her dress is decorated with normal orange stars. Scarlet's ruby earrings changes to sun-shaped stones, her gold and light pink top is replace with a top while retaining the feathers and armband design, with the armband becoming part of the long sleeves she has, and similarly to the other Cures has a red brooch with a sun design in the middle, her choker is switched with a single sun-shaped stone in the middle, and the bottom of her dress is decorated, and her hair covered, with four-point stars, and now reaches her thighs. In this mode, the Cures is able to perform the group finishing attack Éclat Espoir.

Mode Elegant Royal[]

This is the ultimate Mode Elegant that's obtained in Go! Princess Pretty Cure and that all four Cures can use, it was obtained in episode 39. To access it, the Cures need the Music Princess Palace and the Royal Dress Up Key. The dresses are the same as the Mode Elegant Premium except lace wings in the Cures respective theme color are added to their backs. When they are in this mode, the Cures are able to perform their last and most powerful group finishing attack, Grand Printemps.

Mode Elegant Halloween[]

This is a special Mode Elegant that the four Cures obtain in the story "The Pumpkin Kingdom's Treasure" of the season's movie Go! Princess Pretty Cure: Go! Go!! Splendid Triple Feature!!!. The Cures can access this special mode using the Music Princess Palace along the Pumpkin Dress Up Key. In this Mode the Cures can perform the attack Halloween Éclair.

Grand Princess[]

Their powerful form, obtained in episode 49, They access it thanks to the dreams of everyone at Noble Academy. The dresses are a bit simpler than the Mode Elegant Royal Dresses, and are all quite similar to each other. They are mostly light gold with a darker golden yellow gradient toward the bottom of the skirt. The skirts themselves are opened in the front, and are of different sizes for each Cure. The tops look similar to their Premium and Royal Mode Elegant. They also now have golden capes with white fur lining the collars, and they are appeared to be held in the front with light-colored bows of each Cures' signature color (though Twinkle's is purple) and golden brooches with two white ruffles at the bottom. Their tiaras are larger and more ornate-looking, and their chokers are white and tied into bows in the front. Flora's has a flower, Twinkle's has a star, Mermaid's has a blue pearl and Scarlet's has a red jewel shaped like her earrings. They now hold long white scepters with a gold heart and a red heart within it on top, a gold key-like bottom and clear wing-like protrusions hovering on each side. There is also a lace circle above each of their heads resembling a halo. In this mode, the Cures can perform the attack Grand Libération. They also appear to possess the ability to use greatly enhanced versions of their respective finishers without needing to use the respective Dress Up Key or an incantation.

Trivia[]

  • Cure Scarlet only has one Mode Elegant form of her own, not counting the group forms such as Mode Elegant Royal or Grand Princess.
  • Grand Princess is the only Mode Elegant not to be accessed via Pretty Cure, Princess Engage!
